First Family Road Trip - 2015
After Karen began riding in the backseat to help soothe Jude, and once Gregory Alan Isakov's album began playing on the stereo, we the parents had conquered the road trip. Yes, we traveled with a yoga ball which had to be inflated and deflated at each stop; yes, I spent much of my time upon arrival at each location, getting the yoga ball immediately inflated, and campsite set up, so Karen could soothe Jude; yes, we were up at 5:30/6am each morning and packed up by 6:30am in order to avoid having our crying baby wake up other campers. Given our tiny little camping adversary, these were all parts of a successful camping trip.
Below is a photo journal of the trip. The last image is a screenshot of the route we took for our 1,750 mile journey.
